The Montgomery Branch of the Alabama Section hosted the 2018 Winter Meeting Conference in Wetumpka, AL on Thursday, March 1,2018. The day provided some great Engineering Presentations, a Tour of the Impact Crater, and a Legislative Update from the only Professional Engineer in the Alabama State Senate and the House of Representatives. AUGUST 21, 2018 BRANCH MEETING

On Tuesday, August 21, 2018, the Montgomery Branch hosted United States Representative Martha Roby. Representative Roby was able to meet all of the attendees and then provided an Update from Washington D.C. including Transportation and Infrastructure.

Representative Martha Roby is currently in her fourth term serving the people of Alabama’s Second Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives. Prior to being elected to Congress, Representative Roby worked as an attorney and served as a city councilwoman in Montgomery.
