INFORMATION

Montgomery ASCE Branch is holding our annual scholarship golf tournament on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at the Lagoon Park Golf Club in Montgomery, Alabama. Bring your clients and colleagues for a fun afternoon of golfing, networking, and enjoying the beautiful fall weather!

The tournament format will be a shotgun 4-person scramble starting at 12:15 pm. A putting green will be available before the event and range balls will be provided for everyone to warm up. Prior to the tournament, we will have a lunch and learn presentation. Awards will be provided for the teams with the lowest scores, last place, longest drive, and closest to the pin. We will also be providing door prizes.

SCHEDULE

• 10:00 a.m. – Check in, Range & Putting Green Practice
• 11:00 a.m. – Lunch and Learn Presentation
• 12:00 p.m. – End of Lunch and Learn
• 12:05 p.m. – Receive Tournament Instructions from Golf Pro Shop
• 12:15 p.m. – Shotgun Start
•  4:30 p.m. – Score Card Turn In and Prizes

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• You may register for any number of people. Individuals will be assigned to teams, and requests can be made to be paired with specific individuals. To ensure specific teams, please sign up as a full foursome.
• Scramble: Each team’s players hit from the teebox. Then the team chooses the best of the four shots for the next shot. All team members then play the second shot from that location, and again choose the best shot. Play continues in this manner until the hole is completed.
• Shotgun: Each team tees off at different holes at the same designated time.
• Mulligans will be available for purchase by cash or check at the check-in table the day of the event.
• All players and abilities are welcome!
